With the Diamond being a building designed for engineers, it contains all the facilities that they will require throughout their course. This includes 8 lecutre theatres (one inside the Church), Computer rooms, Study areas, Lab rooms and a Library. You can access most of these areas 24/7 whenever you like as long as you have your U-Card with you. At some point during your course you will most likely take advantage of all of the facilities available to you along with the 24 hour access which can come in handy when you have a deadline coming up and can't get everything done during the normal hours of the day.

Most of the lectures that you will attend will be in the basement of the Diamond, with the exception of Machines and Intelligence and Java programming which are held in the Church that is accross the road. These theatres hold more than enough people for the course so there is never any worry of not having a place to sit.

There are many areas within the Diamond where you can study, some of these can be booked out for a group so you have a private area to work without disturbing/being disturbed by other people. The other study areas allow for you to come whenever you would like and as long as there is space then you're free to stay. The MindSphere lounge is also available on the ground floor, containg many seats and some group areas where you can meet if all the group rooms are taken or you don't want to book one. The lounge also contains a small library for you to use along with an area to return books that you have previously taken out.
